About Ally
Hi, I’m Ally — a Business English and communication coach with over 12 years of experience helping professionals feel confident and communicate proficiently at work. I want to help you improve your communication and language skills so you can be successful at work- in meetings, presenting your ideas, building relationships- and in getting the job you want, speaking confidently in interviews, and presenting yourself well on paper such as in your CV and cover letter. My background is in leadership coaching and workplace communication, so I understand what employers expect and how your level of English proficiency can impact your career progression. Originally from the UK, I now live in New Zealand and have worked with people across industries like finance, tech, healthcare, engineering, and law. I’ve helped clients prepare for promotions, lead meetings, speak up in global teams, and succeed in job interviews — all in English. I know how hard it can be to express yourself clearly in a second language — my partner is from Uruguay and didn’t speak English when we met. He’s now fluent, you too can do this with effort, practice, and the right support. My Business English lessons are designed to help you succeed at work — whether that’s in meetings, interviews, presentations, or everyday conversations.
We focus on real-world language and situations so you can build the confidence and skills to speak clearly and professionally in English.
