About Ramon
Hello, and welcome! I'm Ramon, a Business Administration graduate from Brokenshire College in Davao City, Philippines. I have over 17 years of professional experience, including years of working with budgets, forecasts, pricing, and financial reports, so I use math in real life every day. I have also trained and coached many team members, which taught me how to explain things clearly and patiently. As a tutor, I'm friendly, calm, and organized, and I want every student to feel comfortable asking questions. I can teach in English, Tagalog, or Bisaya, whichever helps you learn best. Hi! I teach math in a patient, step-by-step way, so students understand the reason behind each answer and don't just memorize formulas. A typical lesson starts with a quick review of the last topic, then I explain the new concept with simple examples, and we solve problems together. After that, the student tries problems on their own while I give feedback, and we finish with a short recap and practice for the next lesson. I use real-life examples, like budgeting, percentages, and prices, to make math easier to understand. I'm friendly and calm, and I adjust my pace to each student.
