About Jaybert
Hello! I’m Jaybert, an experienced and passionate English teacher dedicated to helping students become confident and effective English communicators. I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Secondary Education major in English and I am certified in TEFL and TESOL.
I have experience teaching English to students with different ages, levels, and learning goals. I have taught General English, speaking, pronunciation, grammar, vocabulary, Phonics, KET, PET, IELTS, TOEFL, Business English, and public speaking.
As your tutor, I believe that every student has different needs and learning styles. I create supportive and engaging lessons where you can practice English comfortably, ask questions, make mistakes, and improve without fear of judgment. I am patient, encouraging, and committed to helping you make steady progress.

About my teaching approach
Hi! I’m Jaybert, an experienced English teacher who believes that learning English should be practical, engaging, and comfortable. My goal is to help students become more confident in using English, not simply memorize grammar rules.
My teaching method and techniques:
I use a student-centered approach where lessons are adjusted according to your level, goals, interests, and learning style. I combine conversation practice, guided questions, vocabulary building, grammar explanations, pronunciation correction, reading activities, and real-life situations. I encourage students to speak as much as possible while providing supportive corrections and helpful feedback.
A typical lesson:
We usually begin with a short warm-up conversation to practice speaking and identify areas that need improvement. We then focus on the main lesson objective, which may include speaking, grammar, vocabulary, pronunciation, reading, or exam preparation. I provide guided activities and practical examples, followed by conversation practice where you can apply what you have learned. At the end of the lesson, we review your progress and identify what you can continue practicing.
What sets me apart:
I am patient, supportive, and adaptable. I understand that every student learns differently, so I avoid using a one-size-fits-all approach. I want my students to feel comfortable making mistakes because mistakes are an important part of learning. I focus not only on accuracy but also on helping students communicate naturally and confidently.
