About Jessica
With 4 years of experience teaching guitar and a Bachelor of Music in World Music (Guitar Traditions), I bring both academic knowledge and hands-on performance expertise to my lessons. My passion lies in the high-energy worlds of metal, shred, and progressive rock. These genres demand discipline, precision, and technical mastery, and I love guiding students through that process. I work with both young learners and adults who want to push their limits on the guitar. Lessons are carefully structured around building speed, accuracy, and expressive playing. I focus on key techniques like alternate picking, legato runs, sweep picking, and tapping. But I also emphasise musicality, ensuring every fast passage still communicates emotion.
