About Thomas
I am a First Class BSc Psychology graduate from University of Birmingham and MSc Clinical Neuroscience graduate from University College London (UCL). I have 3+ years experience of working in the NHS as an Assistant Psychologist/Clinical Researcher and currently work at Great Ormond Street Hospital for Children. I have contributed to and written published research papers, and I'm on the road to becoming a Clinical Psychologist.
In my A levels, I achieved A*AAA (Psychology, English Literature, Biology, Spanish) and in my GCSEs, I achieved 9A*s and 3As. As a 24 ear old who is more than familiar with studying/exams, I understand the immense pressure that students are placed under, and what is needed in order to do well.
As I was a student ambassador for University of Birmingham for 3 years and my boss was the admissions administrator, I can give good advice on university applications, personal statements, UCAS etc.
I am based in Camden, London.

Concerning my tutoring style, my approach is (1) to ensure you understand and remember the content you are preparing to sit an exam for. I can provide you with study plans, help formulate essay plans on specific topics, and generally give advice on how to be best prepared for each exam. (2) I will help ensure that you are answering the questions in ways that are getting you the marks easily. The key to doing well in A level exams is knowing HOW to answer the question and what the question is asking from you. Therefore, I tailor my sessions so that you are ticking every box in the marking criteria.
