About Harshi
Through previous experiences when working with students and helping out around a classroom, I came to realise my love for teaching and simply sharing knowledge with others. It brings me great joy to see someone finally understand something they have been struggling with, because it makes them feel content with the effort they have put in. I want to instil the feeling of joy in other students. Providing tuition is a great way of achieving that and it enables me to get one step closer to my dream of being a teacher. As a student, it is much easier to understand another student’s struggles in terms of academics, thus the student can open up about their struggles without the fear of being judged for not understanding something. This enables more growth to occur for the student, increasing their confidence, which aids in their performance during exams.

Lessons of 1hr or more are provided for students from Year 4 – 9, ages 8 – 14, to help students gain confidence in their mathematical skills for SATS/KS3/GCSE. This will be accomplished through tailored academic support where they can feel free to ask questions about any topics they struggle with at school, thus focusing on those areas, e.g. reading the time, basic trigonometry or the introduction of algebra. Other ways of tackling difficult areas, e.g. trigonometry, would be through using different methods available that may not have been taught at school, to ensure the students’ success during exams.
