About Ané
I've worked as a biology teacher and know first hand the kind of questions students can expect in tests and exams. I am comfortable with both the IEB and Caps curriculums. I am a passionate and optimistic person who is always looking for opportunities to share my knowledge about the wonderful ways our bodies and the natural world works! In my free time I love caring for my plants, reading poetry, and taking photographs - mostly of nature!

For online classes, I usually start with going over the big picture, making sure that students have a general framework about the work we're covering in their minds. I then go on to use screen-sharing to show and draw on diagrams that are helpful for visualisation, as well as to show videos that help with visualisation as well, pausing at crucial moments to make sure students are on board and that they understand and are internalising what is being explained. I then finish every lesson with a good question-and-answer session to lock in the information that we covered.
For in person lessons, my approach is very similar but more hands-on, with more room for questions in between.
