About Shaista
Hi, my name is Shaista and I'm a student and mentor at UCL.
But I'm also a friendly and dedicated tutor who is passionate about helping students build their confidence and achieve their goals. I understand that each student learns differently, so I tailor my lessons to suit individual needs, learning styles and abilities!
I want to create a supportive and encouraging environment where students feel comfortable asking questions, making mistakes and developing their skills at their own pace.
I'm patient, approachable and committed to make each lesson engaging and productive. I'm here to help you succeed!

Length of a lesson: 90 mins
Lessons for students in Year 4, 5 and 6
First 10 minutes: Check in with student to ensure they are happy, healthy and not stressed!
I will arrange and find reading and comprehension papers suitable for each age.
For Year 4, Year 5 and 6: They will independently read and complete the comprehension paper for an hour. The next 20 minutes will be focused on feedback.
