About Bethany
I am an undergraduate student who is currently studying Biomedical Sciences at UCL, with a provisional grade of first class. I specialise in cellular and molecular biology and aspire to pursue cancer research in the future. I am currently an academic representative in my cohort and have previous volunteering experiences in tutoring. I also have experiences in lab environments in both academia and hospital settings. I am a dedicated worker who values insight and understanding. I believe that there is no greater satisfaction than to impart my knowledge to those around me in any way possible.

My teaching methodology is primarily centred around rotations between powerpoint presentations and aiding tutees in their work or areas of struggles. My style of presentations vary with topics to be taught. I first ensure my tutees have a concrete understanding of their learning objectives and ensue this with examples of practical applications. This is so that they will know the background and importance of their foundational knowledge in real life scenarios.
