About Daniel
Hi I'm Daniel, a 1st year Bsc Architecture student at UWE Bristol. I have recently finished studying my A-Levels which consisted of Biology, Statistics and Art.
I am hard working, friendly and determined to help others which are some of the reasons that I enjoy tutoring along with watching peoples knowledge grow and seeing them succeed.
When teaching I try to make a relaxed and fun environment which I believe helps when learning more challenging subjects and remembering them.
In my spare time I play Cricket and Basketball so I am regularly around a team, socialising.
As someone who has been through A-levels recently I can relate to how tough it can be, sometimes a little extra help is needed to push you forward and allow you to perform at a good level which is why am here to help.
I take many different approaches to teaching which helps for students to find a way that they can remember the content within the subject. Due to having good knowledge of the subject I am able to explain things in multiple different contexts too.
There are no stupid questions and will answer anything that you don't understand even with things such as exam tips.

I focus on creating a student-centered learning environment where lessons will be tailored to the individuals academic needs and goals
The typical length of a lesson will range from
45 minutes to 1.5 hours depending on the topic
or the students preferences.
Lessons are flexible and can be adapted regularly to fit your schedule or extended for things such as exams.
I have previously studied Double Science Award at GCSE which includes Biology and most recently A-level Biology so I have experience in the subject and the curriculum that it follows. This also means that I will have knowledge of all topics related to these subjects.
I am able to help students with anything from homework and test prep to more complex areas such as writing essays at A-level or understanding concepts.
I work with any student that is at A-level or below so can adapt to different academic levels/ stages.
Lastly I am friendly and enjoy seeing people progress forward to success :)
