About Monair
I am a qualified teacher with a BSc in Agriculture Education and a genuine passion for Biology and Agricultural Science. Over the past three years I have taught in secondary schools and worked as a tutor, as well as spending a year as a Learning Support Assistant. These experiences showed me how much difference patient, clear explanations and genuine encouragement can make to a student’s confidence. I love helping learners of all ages, both primary and secondary, discover that science is not just something to memorise but a way of understanding the world around them. Teaching online allows me to reach students wherever they are and create a calm, supportive space where they feel safe to ask questions and grow. As a native English speaker with a 120-hour TEFL qualification, I am committed to making every lesson clear, engaging and tailored to the individual.

My online lessons in Biology and Agricultural Science are calm, structured and fully tailored to each student. With a BSc in Agriculture Education, three years of teaching experience (including tutoring) and a year as a Learning Support Assistant, I understand how to break complex topics into clear, manageable steps. I work with both primary and secondary students, adapting my pace and methods to their age and confidence level. As a native English speaker with a 120-hour TEFL qualification, I explain ideas clearly and patiently. Lessons focus on understanding rather than memorising, using real-life examples from agriculture and everyday science so students see why the subject matters. I create a supportive online space where questions are always welcome and progress is celebrated.
