About Hajjanie

I have an experience as an Primary School Teacher and a Psychology graduate with experience tutoring primary-aged children in English and Science.

I provide personalised one-to-one tuition for KS1 and KS2 pupils, adapting each lesson to suit your child's individual learning needs and pace. Whether your child needs support with reading, writing, grammar, spelling, comprehension, creative writing, Science, homework, or SATs preparation, I create engaging and supportive lessons that build both skills and confidence.

My background in psychology gives me a strong understanding of child development and how children learn best. I use evidence-based teaching strategies, positive encouragement, and clear explanations to help children make meaningful progress while developing a love of learning.

I also have experience supporting pupils with Special Educational Needs (SEN) and English as an Additional Language (EAL), ensuring lessons are inclusive, accessible, and tailored to each learner.

I have experience teaching and tutoring pupils across both KS1 and KS2 in English and Science. I tailor my lessons to each child's individual needs, helping them build confidence, strengthen their understanding, and achieve their academic goals.

I have previous experience teaching students in preparation for exams.

About the lesson

My teaching method is based on the individual needs of each student. The first class will be spent on discussing and planning their aim and what they want to achieve out of these sessions. I like explaining verbally, drawing a lot of diagrams, and finding new ways to break down information into small chunks to make it easier to learn and process specific topics that they find more difficult. Also, involves providing students with revision materials and covering content that may have been hard in school. Furthermore, I look into how they can improve themselves on the specific topics that they find quite challenging. I have previous experience, enhancing first-year psychology students' understanding of course content through collaborative group discussions and activities.
