About Kyle-Marie
I am a British trained Primary School teacher with 8 years teaching experience. I have taught in the United Kingdom for 3 years and a large British International school in Japan for 5 years. I have predominately taught children aged 7 -11. Although my training focused on the British National curriculum, I have developed an understanding of many different curriculum's through time spent in a range of settings. I have been tutoring a student in Tokyo via Skype since October. Over my career, I have developed many different teaching styles and have a range of teaching techniques to support different children. I have adapted my teaching to suit new theories and practices and am I make sure to keep up to date with new educational techniques.

Each child has their own way of learning and as a teacher I find it is important to identify this and nurture it. There are many different ways to approach a new or existing concept when teaching. The first may not always work or be the best but there are always other options. I want children to identify their own skills and use these across the board to support their learning and to help them become independent, confident learners.
