I follow a communicative, student centred approach. Creating an inviting classroom environment is essential to my teachings, along with implementing dynamic ways to engage students in class. For example, classroom games are used regularly in my classes.
I love helping students improve their grades specifically for exam purposes. Most recently, I worked with a student who was struggling to get the pass mark for GCSE English. After a little bit of hard work, lots of practice papers and enrichment tasks she felt much more confident getting that pass mark in her exam. In our last practice exam she had exceeded her target grade by two levels!
Working with students from all backgrounds and levels means that I have a great understanding of how to tailor lessons in order to get the very best from a student.
