About Chanelle
Hi, I’m Chanelle, a first-year medical student at Bristol Medical School with a strong academic background in maths and the sciences. I achieved high GCSE grades in Biology, Chemistry, Physics and Maths, and continued these subjects at A level before beginning my medical studies.
I’m a friendly, open-minded and supportive tutor who aims to create a comfortable learning environment where students feel confident asking questions. I understand that studying for exams can be stressful, and I believe learning works best when there is no pressure or judgement. When I was preparing for my own GCSEs and A levels, I often wished I had someone to guide me through difficult topics and help build my confidence. That experience is one of the reasons I’m passionate about tutoring and supporting students through their studies.
As a medical student, professionalism, clear communication and reliability are very important to me. My goal is to help students not only improve their grades but also develop confidence in their abilities and feel more positive about learning.

My lessons are designed to be supportive, engaging and tailored to each student’s individual learning style. I focus on breaking down complex scientific and mathematical concepts into clear, easy-to-understand explanations. During lessons we work through practice questions, exam-style problems and past papers to build both understanding and exam confidence. I also help students develop effective revision strategies and problem-solving techniques that are essential for GCSE success.
A typical lesson lasts 60 minutes, although longer sessions can be arranged if needed. Lessons are usually structured with a short review of previous topics, focused teaching on key concepts, and practice questions to reinforce learning.
I am a first-year medical student at Bristol Medical School with strong academic results in STEM subjects. I achieved A* Grades in GCSE Biology, Chemistry, Physics and Maths, as well as A grades in A-level Chemistry and Mathematics. My medical studies have further strengthened my understanding of these subjects and my ability to explain complex material clearly.
My tutoring is aimed at GCSE students (ages 14–16) who want to improve their understanding, build confidence in science and maths, or prepare for upcoming exams. I welcome students of all abilities, whether they need help catching up with topics or are aiming for higher grades.
Lessons are conducted online and scheduled flexibly to suit the student’s availability.
