About Madeleine
Currently, I am studying music and music production at QUT, writing and recording my second release as a recording artist. Previously I have tutored beginner guitar and piano, but am taking a break on giving instrumental lessons and focusing on what I've observed is not readily available with focus and passion - music theory and composition teachers.

CLASSES FOR FUN:
Want to learn how to write a rock song? Pop lyrics? Tripping over getting a catchy melody? Let's have some fun and get creating together!
IN DEPTH CLASSES: If you are a serious musician wanting answers! I like to comprehensively go into the whys, hows and ways in which music can be understood. It can be overwhelming when your music theory questions as a student are met with the words, "that's just how it is." I don't do that.
What I have learned through years of study, reading and composing and aranging various classical, meditation, popular and rock pieces and songs, is that there ARE answers to the 'whys', and anyone can get their head around those tricky theoretical bits. Whatever your challenge with theory, songwriting or composition, be it developing your inner 'pitch', learning how to write or understand phrasing for a particular genre, or understanding musical structure, I'd be happy to help you on your journey.
