About Adrian
Hi! I’m Adrian — a science educator with almost 10 years of experience offering tutoring for biology & chemistry. As an International Baccalaureate (IB) graduate, I understand the ATAR syllabus, assessments, and exam expectations at both the SACE & IB level. Most recently, I have completed a PhD in radiopharmaceutical science and medical imaging at the University of Queensland. I graduated from the University of Adelaide with a Bachelor of Science majoring in chemistry and biochemistry in 2018 and a First Class Honors in organic chemistry in 2019. During my honors, I also taught and ran first-year university chemistry practical sessions where I developed a passion for teaching. Since then, I have been tutoring biology and chemistry.

In my experience, each student is different and I try to cater to every student's learning style. For difficult and abstract subjects like chemistry and biology I use visuals to break down complex topics into small tangible concepts to build foundational knowledge.
As a tutor, I always aim to develop warm relationships with my students where there are no dumb questions. Biology and chemistry are uncomfortable enough, so I strive to make it as comfortable of a learning environment as possible.
