I have 340 hours of training in TEFL, over 9 years of classroom teaching to young adults and adults and over 5 years of coordinating and writing Interior Decorating education programs. I believe in bringing communities together through communication. I choose to focus on the below points to create a strong learning environment: 1. The ability to develop inspiring relationships with my students to create a safe, positive, and productive learning environment. 2. Patient, caring, and kind personality and having a sensitivity to student differences, particularly with learners. My directive is strongly related to my students' learning and development. 3. Knowledge of learners. This includes an understanding of how students learn at any given developmental level. The awareness that learners have individual needs and abilities; and an understanding that instruction should be tailored to meet each learner’s needs. 4. Dedication to teaching refers to the love of teaching or passion for my work, which includes a commitment to students’ success. To a student, this means a teacher needs to be willing to help and give of their time. 5. Students participating in learning, researchers talk about three types of engagements that are required for students to learn: cognitive, emotional, and behavioral. Focusing on making the content interesting and the ability to motivate students to learn is the key to students learning at a younger age. I have strong characteristics in the following: • Strong presentation skills • Personable and professional • Possess strong communication skills, both written and oral • Reliable, self-disciplined and able to manage time efficiently • Must be a self-starter with the ability to work with limited supervision • Build strong relationships with students
