About Charlotte
Hi, I'm Charlotte! I am a recent Boston College graduate and a MA native who scored a 1500 on the SAT, including a 780 on Math.
I got into tutoring because I remember exactly how overwhelming SAT prep can feel, and I wanted to help students approach it with a clear plan instead of anxiety. My goal isn't just to raise scores — it's to help students walk into test day feeling calm, prepared, and confident in their own abilities.

Teaching Method & Techniques
- Start every student with a full-length diagnostic test to pinpoint content gaps and pacing issues across Reading, Writing, and Math
- Build a personalized study plan that prioritizes the highest-leverage skills first
- Use official College Board materials as the core resource
- Incorporate timed drilling to build test-day stamina and pacing instincts
- Maintain an error log so students understand why they missed a question, not just the correct answer
- Emphasize pattern recognition across Math question types so problems feel familiar, not brand new
Typical Lesson Plan
- Open with a quick review of homework and recurring error patterns
- Deliver focused instruction on 1–2 target skills per session (e.g., systems of equations, evidence-based reading)
- Run timed practice sets that mirror real test conditions
- Close by logging mistakes and updating the student's personalized weak-spot tracker
- Assign targeted homework based on that session's gaps, never generic worksheets
- Every few weeks, administer a full timed practice test to track score trajectory and recalibrate the plan
What Sets Me Apart

- Strong quantitative and analytical background, including experience in Data Analytics, Calculus, and Economics.
- Recent graduate perspective — familiar with current test formats and necessity of high SAT score to set students apart at top-tier universities
- Approachable, low-pressure communication style
- Focus on building genuine understanding and confidence, not just short-term score tricks
