About Jedidiah

I am a Singaporean who lived in Japan for the longest time in life, for about 15 years. I hold a Japanese PR too:) It was definitely not a smooth sailing journey, but I truly enjoyed the unique environment I was raised in. I really want to help prospective students boost their Japanese as I truly understand the perplexity it can be to learn Japanese as a second language. I hope to see students excel in their studies and enjoy the process of learning Japanese. 2017/08-current: Freelance interpretation and translation between Japanese and English 2020-2022: Individual Japanese lessons (age: 20-50) in Singapore 2022/08: Private Japanese lessons for students (age: 3-50) in Dublin 2023/01-current: Part-time Japanese tutor at ATLAS language school other experiences -Translation of web content / Business documents / conference handouts -Interpretation services between English and Japanese -Proofreading of documents -Facilitation of Online seminars -Bilingual Corporate Liaison -Transcription service (Japanese→English) etc.

About the lesson

In my lessons, I will help you overcome your weak points and give useful tips to improve your fluency. Every one of us has different reasons why we want to learn a language. Thus, to maximize your potential, I will carry out lessons that are a perfect fit for your ideal usage (e.g., for business, school, hobbies, futuristic purpose to work in Japan, etc.) Also..... since I lived (well, my family still lives there so technically still living) there, I am able to provide accurate and useful advice about all sorts of matters in Japan. So, if you are looking for an INTERESTING, INSIGHTFUL, and INFORMATIVE lesson, you are at the right place!!!

Perfect! Super friendly and a great teacher. He is organised and writes lesson plans even for just one student. He makes you feel comfortable and confident. He explained things very well and made things extremely clear. Would recommend to everyone! He also told me a lot about the traditional food (made me very hungry) and culture and he gave me recommendations for when I move there. He tailored the lesson to my learning needs and didn't have a one size fits all approach.
