Super tutor

Max is one of our best French tutors. High-quality profile, verified qualifications, a quick response time, and great reviews from students!

About Max

Born and raised in France, I've recently graduated from the University of Durham where I studied Philosophy, Politics & Economics. I have previous experience teaching both French and mathematics, whether as a private tutor for 3 years whilst at high-school or as a volunteer with the association Jusoor. As a private tutor, I have offered more than 100 hours of individual lessons to students seeking to improve their level in French.

About the lesson

I aim to adapt my approach to each student so that my classes are best tailored for them to meet their learning goals whilst having a great time doing it. I teach students of all levels - from beginners to high-school students and can even help undergraduates with their essays - but only do so in one-on-one classes as I truly believe that this is the most efficient way to progress, especially when it comes to linguistic abilities. I always prepare the classes ahead so that we can optimise our time together and focus mainly on making you understand and progress.

Reviews

All of our reviews are collected by us and are 100% reliable. They correspond to a real experience had by the students of Max.

Max’s lessons are both productive and enjoyable - I would describe his teaching style as both relaxed and effective. He is a smart and engaging teacher that truly gets the best out of his students. He was incredibly helpful in enabling me to (re)learn French after a long break and I used to always look forward to his lessons. Merci encore for everything Max!
