I am an international student from China, currently studying at the University of Melbourne, majoring in Communication. The purpose of tutoring is to broaden my horizons and meet more people, to pass on Chinese culture and to improve my English at the same time. Students can be taught to listen, read and write in four areas. Firstly, students learn the basics of phonics, grammar and vocabulary. Then we will go deeper into speaking and listening. The learning process will be linked to the students' daily lives, using examples and analogies to make the content easy to understand. At the same time, the programme will combine in-class and out-of-class exercises to consolidate the student's knowledge. The course will be adapted to the student's base and each student will receive tailor-made training.
