About PRIYASHINI AP KALIDASAN
My name is PRIYASHINI KALIDASAN, and I’ll be your teacher this year. I want to tell you a little about who I am and why I’ve chosen to teach. First and foremost, I love learning. Ever since I was young, I’ve been curious about the world—how things work, why people think the way they do, and how we can use knowledge to make life better. That curiosity eventually led me to teaching. I chose to become a teacher because I believe in the power of education. To me, teaching isn’t just about textbooks or exams—it’s about helping you grow, explore your potential, and discover what you're truly capable of. Each one of you has something unique to bring to the world, and my goal is to support and challenge you so that you leave my class more confident, skilled, and inspired. I’m here not just to teach you facts, but to help you think, question, and express yourself. I want our classroom to be a space where you feel safe to be yourself and excited to learn. I can’t wait to begin this journey with you. Let’s make it a great year—together. Warmly, [PRIYASHINI KALIDASAN) KP

1. Teaching Techniques and Methodology
My approach is personalized, interactive, and goal-driven. I tailor each lesson to the student's learning style, pace, and goals, using the following core methods:
Diagnostic Assessment: I start by identifying strengths, weaknesses, and learning objectives.
Scaffolded Learning: I break complex topics into manageable steps, building up to mastery.
Active Engagement: I use questions, examples, and mini-quizzes to ensure active participation and retention.
Real-world Application: I relate content to real-life situations to make lessons more relevant and engaging.
Feedback and Reflection: I give constructive feedback regularly and encourage learners to reflect on their progress.
For younger students or beginners, I use more visuals, analogies, and simplified explanations. For more advanced learners, I dive deeper into theory, encourage critical thinking, and provide challenging practice.
