About Abeer

Learning English wasn’t easy for me either—I remember feeling nervous and self-conscious, especially when I struggled to use my English in everyday conversations. Despite taking formal lessons, I found that the best way to improve was by speaking, even if it meant making mistakes. Over time, those everyday conversations helped me gain confidence, and that’s exactly what I want to offer you.

In my sessions, you’ll find a safe, welcoming space to practice English without fear of judgment. I understand the courage it takes to speak up, and I’m here to make it as comfortable and natural as possible. Together, we’ll focus on real conversations, one-on-one, so you can build fluency and feel confident in both formal and informal settings. I’m dedicated to helping you express yourself comfortably, so you never have to feel the anxiety I once did.

About the lesson

-My teaching method revolves around immersion through conversation. I believe that speaking English daily is the best way to achieve fluency. Rather than focusing on grammar drills or starting from scratch, I use real-life dialogues to help students refine their skills. I guide students through both formal and informal settings to ensure they feel comfortable in various situations. Each lesson is adapted to the student’s personal interests, goals, and challenges, making learning relevant and enjoyable.
-Lesson Plan:
Warm-Up (5-10 minutes): We begin with a casual conversation about the student’s day or any recent events, easing into English and setting a comfortable tone.
Main Topic Discussion (20-25 minutes): We pick a relevant topic, such as hobbies, travel, or work scenarios, to practice vocabulary, fluency, and conversational flow.
Real-Life Simulations (10-15 minutes): Through role-play, we simulate real situations like job interviews, ordering at a restaurant, or small talk, helping students gain confidence in diverse environments.
Feedback & Key Takeaways (5-10 minutes): I provide constructive feedback, highlighting useful phrases, pronunciation tips, and areas to focus on outside of sessions.

-My unique approach lies in teaching through conversation only. I’m not here to teach English from scratch – instead, I help students improve their fluency by practicing speaking naturally. I cover both formal and informal English, so students are prepared for professional and everyday situations alike.

- My sessions are ideal for intermediate to advanced students who know the basics but want to improve their conversational confidence. I work with professionals seeking better business English, students preparing for immersion, and, importantly, international university students who are transitioning into an English-speaking environment. I help these students pick up informal English, slang, and even Gen Z terms to help them fit in with their peers and navigate everyday social situations.
