About Usman
As a UK-qualified educator with six years of teaching experience across UK and international school settings, I am dedicated to unlocking every student's full academic potential.
My teaching career spans the breadth of Key Stage 2 and lower secondary education (Years 3 to 9), providing me with a comprehensive understanding of how children develop academically, socially, and emotionally over time.
My tutoring is tailored for Primary and Lower Secondary pupils (Years 3 to 9, ages 7–14), with specialist focus in:
English & Literacy Excellence: Advanced reading comprehension, analytical writing, creative writing, spelling, punctuation, and grammar (SPaG) across primary and early secondary levels.
Exam & Transition Prep: Key Stage statutory assessments (including SATs) and smooth, confident academic transitions into secondary school and lower secondary curricula.
Inclusive & EAL Support: Tailored scaffolding and targeted intervention for multilingual learners and diverse academic requirements.

Every student is unique. I begin by assessing a learner’s current baseline using formative and summative approaches, tailoring my lessons to address specific gaps
Whether tackling complex grammar, reading comprehension, or creative writing, I break concepts down into manageable, incremental steps. I use robust scaffolding to support learners before gradually fading support to build independence.
