About Victor

I am a dedicated Accounting tutor with experience teaching Cambridge IGCSE, A-Level Accounting, WAEC and NECO. I specialize in breaking down complex accounting concepts into simple, practical lessons, ensuring students grasp both theory and application. My teaching approach incorporates active learning techniques to foster critical thinking and problem-solving skills. With a passion for financial literacy and academic excellence, I strive to equip students with the knowledge and confidence needed to excel in their studies and future careers.

About the lesson

My methodology is based on student centered approach. I admit that I do enjoy being the "sage on the stage" in my classroom, but I realize that this does little to engage my students in deep thinking. I want my students to be at the center of their learning. The teacher’s primary role is to coach and facilitate student learning and overall comprehension of material, and to measure student learning through both formal and informal forms of assessment, like group projects, student portfolios, and class participation. In the student centered classroom, teaching and assessment are connected because student learning is continuously measured during teacher instruction.
