About Wren
"Standing on a stage for 12 years, I realized that passing on what I learned is just as vital as playing the notes. My self-taught background gives me a practical, honest perspective that formal schooling often skips.
I guide advanced learners, kids, and working professionals through the complexities of the fretboard with a focus on jazz harmony. It is rewarding to see someone finally grasp why certain chords move the way they do.

"I structure my guitar sessions by listening to where you currently struggle and then addressing the mechanics of your lead guitar and fingerpicking. Truthfully, I often find that people overthink their power chords instead of letting the music drive their physical technique. We spend time on ear training, tuning and maintenance, and grade exam prep so you feel fully prepared for any setting. My 12 years of experience on the Nashville and LA circuits influence how I teach you to manage electric technique while keeping the core theory in mind.
I believe that improvisation works best when you understand the modal framework behind the melody. We will keep the energy high and focus on making your playing sound like a real performance."
