About Roozbeh

I am a classic black and white photographer who has been taking photos for more than 25 years. Even though my academic studies focused on nude and fashion photography, people, portrait and landscape photography have always been part of my work areas. In addition to photography, I also completed an engineering degree and a degree in pedagogy. Furthermore, the training and education of photographers and models has been part of my professional activity for two decades.

Are you ready for your creative photographic journey?
The challenges for photographers and those who want to be a photographer have changed a lot in the meantime. In the past, the very expensive professional equipment and technical necessities and conditions deterred many people from an ambitious or professional approach. It took a lot of patience, money and work before you could see the results of your project. Today every device can easily take photos of an acceptable quality. Of course there are still unbelievable simplifications. The devices allow thousands of photos to be taken. These can be viewed immediately. Computer software and free apps make it very simple to edit these images. Last but not least, billions of images can easily be found on the Internet that make your own ideas seem almost unnecessary.
It is precisely these simplifications that make good photos rare. Most people now have more photos than they used to, but the quality of the images has suffered massively as a result. Many pictures are similar and interchangeable. The quality of the pictures has become completely arbitrary. Individuality and creativity have given way to the principle of “getting-most-likes”.
My motto brings the photographer back to the roots of photography. Every picture counts. It's about the mood and the moment. It is not the quantity that counts, but the story, the emotions or the message that the picture represents. Discover your own creativity and your photographic eye.
