About Grace
I am a recent biotechnology graduate from Queen’s University, so all of the knowledge is fresh in my brain! High school was where I first fell in love with biology and I hope to share some of my passion in my tutoring. I got straight A’s every semester of University (okay, 1 B in first year) and felt like I mastered the tips and tricks to succeeding academically. I still have my notes from high school, and vividly remember the lessons I took when I was there.

The structure of my lesson will always start with simply getting everyone on the same page. Starting from a broad perspective and gradually working our way to fine tuning small topics before putting everything together is how I think we learn best. Therefore, I will always prepare extensively for my lessons and do my “homework” so we can focus on what is really important during the session. I am patient and understand how frustrating it is to not understand a topic. I will make sure every session is both positive and productive.
