About Alanna
I am a Biotechnology graduate student with a BA in Biotechnology. I have worked in both the hospital and laboratory setting and will be starting medical school in the fall. During my undergraduate years, I tutored students through my local YMCA. I have a passion for the sciences and enjoy helping students.

My teaching method is fun and laid back. Biology is so broad and at times there is a lot of information to digest. I find that learning the big picture of complicated topics provides a good foundation to build off. With a solid foundation, students can tackle the smaller details and piece things together.
