About Shreya

I am a Biotechnology graduate with strong academic English proficiency and clear communication skills developed through research writing and presentations. My background allows me to explain concepts in a simple, structured, and easy-to-understand way.

As a tutor, I aim to create a supportive and professional learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and improving their skills. About the lesson

My teaching approach focuses on clarity, interaction, and adapting to each student’s learning style. I explain concepts in a simple and structured way so that students can easily understand and apply them. Lessons include a combination of grammar explanation, vocabulary building, reading comprehension, and speaking practice depending on the student’s needs. I also incorporate exercises, discussions, and short practice tasks to reinforce learning and build confidence in using English in both academic and everyday contexts.

Typical Length of a Lesson
A typical lesson lasts about 60 minutes, which allows enough time to review previous material, introduce new concepts, and practise through exercises. During the lesson, students have the opportunity to ask questions and clarify doubts. For students preparing for exams or needing more intensive support, longer sessions of around 90 minutes can also be arranged.

Qualifications and Experience as a Tutor
I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Biotechnology, which has required strong academic English skills, including scientific writing, presentations, and research communication. Through my academic work and research experience, I have developed a strong command of English and the ability to explain complex ideas clearly. I have experience helping students improve their understanding of English through structured explanations, practice exercises, and guidance in reading and writing.
