About Sarah
My name is Sarah, and I’m excited to support you on your academic journey. I hold a B.S. in Biopsychology from Tufts University, with a strong focus on psychology. My approach to teaching is thoughtful, encouraging, and grounded in a deep understanding of how people learn. As a tutor, my approach is student-centered. I adapt my teaching style to meet the individual needs of each learner.
A typical lesson starts with a short review of the previous session to reinforce retention. Then we move into new material, which I introduce gradually using examples and interactive practice. I end each session with a short recap and a few practice tasks to build confidence and fluency between lessons.
What sets me apart is my psychology background from my four years of learning at Tufts University. Whether you're starting from the basics or looking to strengthen your knowledge for a test, I’m here to guide you at your own pace, with encouragement, respect, and clear instruction.
