About Navroop
I am a biomedical sciences student, starting dental school and work as an academic advisor at my university as well as a tutor, where I help students with homework help and learning ahead for the next academic year. I also prepare resources and worksheets for extra help and review in between classes.

My teaching methodology is dependent on each student's learning style and engagement. If a student is a visual learner, I use a whiteboard to explain concepts and provide lots of examples. If a class is one hour, I would start off by introducing myself and asking what the student is working on for that day. I would provide any help with questions if required, go over the next concept and then give plenty of questions to work on with me. I usually provide a 5-minute bathroom break in the middle and then go over the leftover questions before assigning homework. I like to make my classes as engaging as possible by asking questions, telling stories and giving a mental break whenever necessary.
