About Iona
Biology can be a challenging subject... however it can also be very interesting and even fun! As a tutor I will put in my effort to ensure that my students are developing a clear understanding of key concepts in course and are able to apply this in exam style questions.
Aside from my passion for biology I love to play netball, run and try fun new recipes.

I offer tuition for those seeking extra, more focused help in National 5 and Higher Biology.
The sessions will be structured to best suit the individual needs of the student to ensure optimal learning. I teach in close accordance to the relevant course specification, however I am more than happy to hone in on particular areas of interest or difficulty. Each teaching session will last from 30-50 minutes depending on the content being covered and the requirements of the student.
My credentials for this role include A's at Higher biology, chemistry, maths and English as well as qualifications in Advanced Higher biology, chemistry and maths. In addition I have previous coaching experience and tutored in maths during high school.
Learning is so much easier when it's fun and there is genuine interest. Therefore I try to make each lesson as engaging as possible and share my passion for the subject!
