About Nethaya
As a dedicated and approachable tutor, I create a supportive learning environment where students feel encouraged to ask questions, make mistakes, and grow. Currently studying Biomedical Science I bring a passion for learning and mentorship. With experience teaching students aged 4–17 in both academic and cultural subjects, I adapt my teaching style to suit individual needs—whether that’s simplifying complex material, providing exam-focused guidance, or boosting subject confidence. My approach to tutoring is centred around building confidence through clarity and active engagement. I use a mix of visual aids, practice questions, and simplified explanations to break down complex concepts, tailoring each lesson to the student’s individual learning style. I encourage open dialogue so students feel comfortable asking questions and developing their critical thinking skills. A typical lesson lasts around 60 minutes and is structured to include a review of prior content, new topic introduction, interactive practice, and a brief recap to consolidate understanding. I have experience tutoring GCSE students and I am fully qualified to tutor students at GCSE level.
