About Sara
I'm a BSc Biomedical Sciences student at UCL eager to pass on my knowledge and help younger students develop a passion for biology or maintain their existing passion! It is easy to forget why you chose to do a certain subject, especially during exam season, however, the motivation can be maintained through the academic year if you develop a system personal to yourself and digest content the way that works for you!
I'd love to help you develop this system and fill any potential gaps in your knowledge. Biology is a vast subject and it can get overwhelming sometimes but it doesn't have to be!

Lesson plans are flexible with the student's needs in mind.
Tools such as flashcards and past papers will also be utilised, with weekly/fortnightly quizzes (depending on lesson frequency) to improve the student's understanding of the topic with spaced repetition.
The main focus will be understanding the content and not pure memorisation.
Experience as a fresher's transition mentor, volunteer UCAS mentor, and volunteer GCSE chemistry tutor during the lockdown.
I am happy to work with Year 8 & 9, GCSE, and A-level students.
