Hi, I’m Michael—a friendly, and patient tutor with a 2:1 in Biomedical Sciences from the University of Surrey. I’ve always enjoyed Maths and love helping students gain confidence and improve. I offer flexible 1 or 2-hour Maths lessons tailored to each student’s needs and learning style. My approach focuses on building a strong understanding of core concepts through clear explanations, step-by-step problem solving, and plenty of practice. I believe in creating a supportive and encouraging environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and building confidence in their abilities. I have a 2:1 degree in Biomedical Sciences from the University of Surrey, and achieved a Grade 8 in GCSE Maths and a B at A-level. I tutor students at KS3 and GCSE level, and I adapt my teaching methods depending on the student’s goals—whether it’s boosting grades, preparing for exams, or building general confidence in Maths. Lessons are interactive, engaging, and structured around the student’s school curriculum or specific areas they want to focus on.
