About Cameron
Developing an interest in STEM subjects in high school is one thing but it is another to know what to expect when pursuing a career in STEM. As a biomedical sciences graduate who has worked in the pharmaceutical industry for over 4 years, I am here to settle any doubts in studying for a career in STEM. I have worked on a broad spectrum of projects which have had a positive impact on the development of innovative medications. Therefore, I am passionate about helping others achieve a similar goal. I use different teaching methods to tailor to each student while truly enjoying the process of breaking down complex ideas into familiar and understandable concepts. Tutoring allows me to combine my eagerness to contribute towards healthcare advancements through my primary job and my desire to help achieve students' goals of high grades (and of course, a career in STEM!). I have great experience in tutoring students in the past at different levels (including undergraduate level) and have been incredibly rewarded by seeing them build confidence and ace their learning goals and achievements.

The key to my successful teaching is by providing tailor-made lessons to my students. By understanding what my students already know, I actively listen to determine their strengths and weaknesses of a subject. I utilise analogies, such as using familiar concepts and visualisation, to help them better understand and learn certain concepts. I have used the aforementioned practical teaching methodologies on undergraduate students during my postgraduate studies and family friends' high school students. I provide such tailor-made lessons for those studying for their GCSE and A level maths and biology exams.
