About Vanessa
I am a Biomedical Sciences graduate with extensive educational knowledge of Maths. I was once a Student Tutor during sixth form and tutored 2 students for their GCSEs. These students achieved higher than their predicted grades, with one student, in particular, achieving an A whilst they were predicted a C. I am also a very fluent Portuguese speaker, with the ability to teach Portuguese at a beginner level. I have vast practical experience in both these subjects as I achieved a GCSE and A-level grade for both.

I am a recent graduate that teaches GCSE students. I approach each topic by explaining thoroughly each mathematical subject. I do this by looking at past paper questions and going over the methodology. In addition, when teaching Portuguese I cover the basic words such as naming things, places and how to greet people; for this specifically my method of teaching is through imagery (using images of objects)
