About Semra
I am currently a 4th-year university student studying Biomedical Science with Honours. I am flexible and am happy to teach on weekends and in the evenings. I am happy to offer a sample lesson to help understand the students' way of learning and help them understand and engage in my way of teaching. My hobbies include eating out with friends, going to the cinema, and working on business plans.

Welcome to a transformative one-to-one tutoring experience tailored for Scottish students preparing for National 5 and Higher Maths and Chemistry! My lessons are engaging, interactive, and suited to your unique needs. Each session starts with a brief overview of the topic and setting our objectives for the lesson within the topic. This is followed by an interactive lesson where concepts in maths and chemistry are explained using real-world examples and visual aids. Active participation is encouraged, and students are urged to ask for help whenever they do not understand something. I am happy to explain concepts as many times as needed until they make sense. In maths, we cover National 5 and Higher topics, including algebra, trigonometry, and calculus. In chemistry, we explore subjects such as atomic structure, chemical reactions, and organic chemistry. We focus on the topics you may struggle with the most; however, I am happy to offer tutoring sessions on all topics when preparing for an exam or class test. Lessons are structured to build foundational knowledge, then progressively tackle more complex ideas. After every session, I will assign targeted homework to reinforce the specific topic covered, ensuring that you can apply what you've learned and solidify your understanding. Lessons are dynamic and adaptive, responding to your pace and progress. I emphasise critical thinking and encourage you to explore topics deeply. With extensive experience in teaching National 5 and Higher Maths and Chemistry, I bring a wealth of knowledge to each lesson, ensuring that my approach is inclusive and effective. My goal is to create a supportive and stimulating environment that inspires curiosity and a love for learning, helping you succeed in National 5 and Higher Maths and Chemistry.
