About Zara
My name is Zara, and I started tutoring because I genuinely enjoy helping children understand things they find difficult and seeing their confidence grow. When I was preparing for my own SATs, I really appreciated having a tutor who was patient, encouraging and took the time to explain things in a way that made sense to me. That experience showed me how much of a difference the right support can make, and it inspired me to become that person for other students. I want my students to feel comfortable asking questions, never feel embarrassed about getting something wrong, and leave each lesson feeling a little more confident than when they started.

Hi! I’m currently studying Biomedical Science at university and have previous experience tutoring KS2 students. I’ve taught Maths and English and helped students prepare for their SATs, so I understand how important it is to have the right support during those years.
I’m friendly, patient and approachable, and I always try to make lessons feel comfortable rather than stressful. I’ll work at your child’s pace, focus on the areas they find difficult and help them build confidence along the way.
Seeing a student finally understand something they’ve been struggling with is honestly the best part of tutoring!
