About Ryan
I have always been passionate for biological sciences, that passion led me into my university studies within Biomedical science where I graduated in 2023 and now find myself working within the UKHSA as a healthcare scientist in Virology specialising in the field.
I wish to share my passion with young aspiring scientists who wish to follow the same journey im currently on. I believe my passion and experience working within the industry enables me to be able to aid students in achieving the best of grades possible whilst giving an adaptive teaching experience that ensures all of the key information is given to enable students to achieve their best

My approach to tutoring takes into consideration each students strengths and weaknesses, allowing me to tailor each session, targeting areas of weakness specifically to ensure the student is 100% confident when exam time comes around. Im also happy to incorporate any techniques into my sessions that the student finds most useful so that we are making the most of the sessions I provide.
In order for me to effectively plan lessons, I will set regular exam practice from both past papers and workbooks which will show me specifically which topic areas need the most attention.
The length of my sessions will depend on the students needs and attention span. Typically they will run between 1 - 2 hours but I am happy to accommodate.
A little about me, I recently completed my undergraduate degree in Biomedical science, having been passionate for science from a young age. My studies and experience with my day job at UKHSA have given me a wealth of expertise within biological studies and so can comfortably share my knowledge and passion, therefore shaping the next generation of scientists.
