I have a degree in biomedical science and an MA in Acting so can teach creatively and engagingly.

Everyone learns differently so it's about engaging the brain creatively. I don't learn by being talked at for 40 minutes so I wouldn't expect a child to either.
If that means drawing diagrams together, coming up with a story that helps explain it all, silly songs or drawing on yourself (that was particularly helpful in my anatomy revision!) then so be it!
