About Jessica
As a medical student with a Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Sciences, I have developed a strong foundation in anatomy and the biomedical sciences, as well as effective strategies for mastering challenging material. As a visual learner, I understand the importance of connecting concepts rather than simply memorizing facts, and I enjoy helping students see the big picture so everything makes sense.
I pride myself on explaining concepts in multiple ways and adapting my teaching style to meet each student's individual learning needs. My goal is to create a supportive, low-pressure learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions, making mistakes, and building confidence. Learning doesn't have to be stressful—I believe students learn best when sessions are engaging, encouraging, and even enjoyable while staying focused on achieving their academic goals.

My teaching style is personalized to each student's learning needs. I adapt every lesson to fit different learning styles, using clear explanations, visual aids, comparison tables, diagrams, and memory tools such as mnemonics to make complex concepts easier to understand and remember. My goal is to build a strong conceptual foundation while helping students develop effective study strategies.
A typical lesson begins by identifying the student's goals and areas of difficulty, followed by focused instruction, guided practice, and a review of key concepts to reinforce learning. I encourage questions throughout the session and provide practical tips for continued success outside of tutoring.
What sets me apart is my strong background in anatomy and medical based sciences, along with my ability to simplify difficult material and present it in a way that is engaging, organized, and easy to retain. I am especially effective at teaching visual learners and helping students connect concepts rather than simply memorize facts.
My lessons are designed for high school, undergraduate, and early professional students studying anatomy, biology, physiology, and other health science courses, including students preparing for medical, nursing, PA, and other healthcare programs.
