About Branden
My name is Branden, and I have worked incredibly hard to reach the position I am in today. To be completely honest, I come from a challenging background—I started with very little. I understand firsthand the difficulties faced by students attending under-resourced schools filled with everyday distractions, because I lived that reality myself. Despite these obstacles, I made the conscious decision to prioritise my education. Without access to a tutor, I had to teach myself virtually everything. Now, I want to offer the opportunity I never had to any student who is willing to learn and committed to their success.

I am a biomedical science undergraduate currently pursuing a postgraduate degree in biotechnology. With experience tutoring family members privately at GCSE and A-Level, I have developed a versatile and student-centred approach to teaching biology. My method begins by carefully identifying each student’s strengths and weaknesses. I then focus initially on topics that genuinely interest them, fostering a deep appreciation for the world of biology. This foundation allows us to confidently progress into more complex and challenging areas, using their established knowledge as a guide—not only to understand the subject but to excel in it. I prefer to keep lessons concise and engaging to maintain full attention and enhance information retention. However, lesson lengths are entirely flexible and can be tailored to suit individual needs and schedules.
