About Kainat
I know firsthand that math and science can be challenging because I’ve been in that position myself during high school. I understand how frustrating it can feel when a concept doesn’t click right away, which is why I focus on being patient and finding different ways to explain ideas until they make sense. My goal as a tutor is to help students build their understanding, confidence, and skills so they can feel more comfortable tackling problems on their own.

As a Biomedical Engineering student with a year of tutoring experience, I believe every student learns differently. Before we begin, I'll get to know the student's learning style, strengths, and areas where they need the most support so I can personalize each lesson. I use the Ontario curriculum alongside any class notes, textbooks, or assignments provided by the student to ensure our lessons align with what they're learning in school. My goal is to break down complex concepts into clear, manageable steps that build confidence and understanding. A typical lesson includes reviewing previous material, introducing new concepts through examples, working through practice problems together, and ending with a summary and questions to reinforce learning. Having worked with students of different ages and abilities through tutoring, camp, and childcare, I'm comfortable adapting my teaching style to keep lessons engaging, supportive, and effective.
