About Melissa
I would describe myself as determined, optimistic, and bubbly. As a child I was constantly determined to be a straight A student. I graduated with highest honors from my university with an engineering degree. Throughout that time, I realized I love to learn and work with others to see the whole team succeed at our projects. I have shared this passion for learning with others in my past years of tutoring experience from middle school throughout college. I am looking to get back into it!

I am passionate about helping children grow confidence through learning. I have years of tutoring experience in a wide range of academic subjects and ages! Always being a nerd myself, I love being able to share material with students to really help them understand core concepts in math and science. I have a biomedical engineering degree and experience working in the industry which has kept my skills sharp and grown my communication skills for these core concepts and technical ideas.
