About Louay
I am a Neuroscience master's student looking to pass on my love and knowledge of biology to others while supporting my studies with some extra cash.
Though I have not had previous professional experience with tutoring, I've helped out young family members and always find it a joy answering questions they may be confused or curious about. I'd like to think they feel the same way as follow-up questions are very common!

My philosophy when it comes to teaching as well as studying is to ensure a solid foundation of the fundamentals of a topic, and slowly go through subtopics in detail, ensuring that understanding comes before memorisation.
I also believe that curiosity and interest in a subject is absolutely crucial to make the tutoring sessions not only effective, but also fun and rewarding for the student.
Finally, over the course of my own experience being a student, I've researched a great deal about how to study smart, rather than just hard. Effective memorisation techniques are just one example of the things I've learned through this.
