About Karen
I have a B.S. degree with a double major in Biology and Zoology, and a M.A. degree in Biology. My Master’s project involved a lot of Ecology work focusing on intertidal and near-shore ocean health. I have been working in Education for about 16 years, and would love to help you out with areas that are confusing or you are stuck on.

I approach each topic differently, depending on what particular area of Biology you have questions about. I will usually explain something one way, and if you don’t understand it, I will try to use other examples that will help you understand better. I usually will iterate through questions this way repeatedly until you feel comfortable with the topics you are trying to learn. However, I will NOT give you the answers to your homework. Our interaction is a partnership, and I expect you to do your part too!
