About Mackenzie
I'm currently an undergraduate student at Northwestern University after ranking in the top 10% of my county's graduating class from high school. I've had a lot of experience tackling these types of exams myself, and it took a few attempts with limited success to realize the importance of knowing how to approach such exams rather than just understanding the content. I've taken 3 ACT's, 3 SAT's, and 3 PSAT's, allowing me to submit a 1530 SAT and 35 ACT that aided in my acceptance to university. Considering how crucial these exams can be in determining college admissions and access to scholarships, I'm passionate in ensuring every student has the best chance to show their knowledge and be successful on these exams.

I prefer to focus on breaking apart the structure of these respective exams, along with the timing, in order to determine the most effective way of approaching the content that allows for the most quality responses to the questions in the alloted time frames. While understanding the tested content is important, if time management is not effectively addressed, the true knowledge of the test taker will not be assessed as not all questions will be answered to the best of their ability. Hence, only once we've established an effective approach to time management and sifting through the testing material can we best identify the weaknesses in comprehension that require more practice problems. When both of these aspects are effectively addressed, the test will become easier to manage and the score will better reflect the comprehension of the test taker.
